Answer: I play Half Life and for me you do not need to have the cd in to play the game. You can search the internet for "(game name) no cd" but you can only do this If you legally own the game. I can also suggest to you to get CloneCD to copy your cd. Once again you only can copy this cd if you leagally own the game. You are really supposed to buy two copies. Anyway that is what you can try.
