How to speed up your computer!
1) Get your self some Norton System Tools, clean your PC with all the stuff it comes with. Norton will clean
your computer and make as fresh as the day you bought it.
2) Install more RAM. These days more applications use more RAM. (RAM are storage facilities that ONLY store important
files a system or a program will use. When information is stored on RAM it will only be there until you close the
application or shut down, so adding new RAM is plain and simple) A computer should have at least 128meg RAM if
your computer was bought a year ago then you will need to buy DIMM RAM, Ill give u a link in about 5min. To be
on the safe side instead of just installing a new stick - you should buy a stick of 128 meg RAM (30 dollars for
a 128meg stick) and remove the one you have already there and just push the new RAM where the other one was installed
to. If your going to do this then make a post about it and we will give you a better tutorial on how to install
it.
3) You can also reinstall windows! Just put your WINDOWS cd and click install, this will clean any windows files
that have been either damaged or lost.
(More on this if you need it)
That should cover it.
And last - If you don't have Norton we strongly recommend it, its not only a good tool but its a great fixer upper.
If your not into spending money then run ScanDisk {DiskCleaner} and then Disk Defragmenter, these are found in
your start menu accessories and system tools.
You don't have to upgrade RAM, like we mentioned but its a simple to do thing, but some people just don't like
the fact of opening the case and trying not to break it =).
